Expanding on Trixie Heeler (Character Bio)
***Trixie Heeler is from the Australian TV Show Bluey and belongs to Ludo Studios.***
INTRODUCTION
If I were to give Trixie a score, she would only get a D.
Is it because I dislike her? No, quite the opposite actually.
The reason why I’d give her a D—and the problem with Trixie Heeler in general—is that other than her being a binge eater (the episode where she ate a bunch of nachos even though she told Chilli she was trying to lose weight) and more clumsy in parenting, she’s pretty much just a carbon-copy of Chilli. They both like hockey, they look and act similar to each other, they’re both kind of sporty, they are both the “rock” (or the “sun” of their families if you’ve seen the episode) of their families, and—worst of all—they both tend to be sidelined overall in the show and not elaborated on very much as people; it’s especially bad with Trixie, as we don’t know any of her family or background at all.
With Chilli, we know she has a father, an absent mother, and an estranged sister who she refuses to speak to due to some intense drama that I’m not sure will be explored. That at least gives her something to give us interest, but Trixie’s got absolutely nothing, and it seems like she’s mostly just there because she has to be there.
Because of this, I really wanted to elaborate on Trixie with a descriptive list. Keep in mind that this isn’t “fixing” or “telling the creator what to do,” it’s really more for me—and other people who would like to have a jumping-off point for writing about this character—to “discover” who she is, and her dynamics. I’ll probably expand this list of descriptions over time.
Trixie Heeler Bio
WARNING: There will be some fetish traits (like farting (and which you probably expected given my art)), but most of it is about her as a person.
Somewhat airheaded (but has more common sense than Stripe)
Farts a lot (but is very/more apologetic for it than her husband; she finds it very embarrassing)
Clumsy but not sloppy; mostly with new tasks (trips a good amount)
With the trait above, not the quickest learner but can become very efficient when she does learn it
More “quirky” than the original (she gets more easily distracted by things than her husband; think of Alador from the Owl House to get the vibes, but more talkative)
Some slapstick humor when writing her
Very talkative and chattery
Highly communicative
“Parents” more than Stripe, but isn’t very good at it
The kids aren’t as wild toward her as they are Stripe (no/little physical abuse as they do Stripe); they do, however, often manipulate her — Muffin in particular
More comedic in nature than the original
A good amount of the time she doesn’t think about it, but increasingly she wonders where she went wrong with Muffin, as she doesn’t understand her behavior
Is more prone to misinterpreting things than her husband due to overthinking (where as he doesn’t think nearly as much as he should on certain statements/actions)
Overthinks, but almost never in the right direction (it’s usually a weird or just plain stupid assumption)
Somewhat self-conscious
More anxious overall than Chilli, who is “smoother”
Tablet/phone parent, like Stripe. Not as creative as Bandit and Chilli, and when they can’t figure out what to do, they just let their kids on their tablets or have them watch whatever on TV. Muffin in particular uses this to her advantage to learn things to manipulate them. Muffin loves ElsaGate Storytime videos for some reason, and also “pregnancy,” “Gacha Life,” “…but it’s anime,” “creepypasta,” “5 minute crafts,” and “this pose” videos. She usually wears headphones, and her parents almost never even notice or question what she’s watching.
They do do imaginative play like Bluey’s family, but it’s usually Stripe that does it. She’s more likely to play an “actual,” established game with the kids rather than a “custom-tailored” one like Bluey’s family
Smarter than Stripe (read:has actual common-sense) for passwords versus Stripe, who tends to have “ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOP” and “123456” (his phone AND restrictions password, which Muffin very easily figured out and puts back on in case he checks her devices) as his passwords
Can do practical tasks like cooking and cleaning, bills/taxes, and other every day things quite easily and smoothly in spite of her clumsiness, though with new things, it can take her quite a while to get the hang of it; for more imaginative or subjective tasks, though, that’s where she struggles and her “mental clumsiness” comes in
Things tend to be “everywhere” in her mind; it’s not as compartmentalized as Chilli’s
Much thiccer than Chilli in hips, but not necessarily the bust
Chubby
A lot more blunt than Stripe, who tends to say what the “nice” thing is, but doesn’t think about it in context or what its ripple effects will be
Changes her mind easily; easily swayed
Gullible like her husband
Nana tends to place platitudes on her which sort of indirectly show her disappointment in Trixie (although she’s not surprised that Stripe and Trixie are together); Trixie is oblivious to this, but Stripe and Muffin have picked it up, haven’t told her, and aren’t aware that the other (Stripe of Muffin and Muffin of Stripe) know of Nana’s disappointment
Is a terrible liar much like her husband, but she tends to ponder more on what she said after the fact, and tends to feel a lot worse about white lies. If she tells a white lie to her children, because of how guilty she may feel about it, she is much more likely to make the connection between the child’s behavior and what she said; meanwhile, Stripe is usually too dense to realize this, and almost always has to be told by her or Chilli about it
She’s into DIY and life hacks
Crafty; is very close friends with Pat’s very introverted wife Janelle. She’s in a group with her and likes to do diamond painting, origami, arts & crafts, bracelets, necklaces, maybe painting on wood
Is staunchly left-leaning, much like her civil servant husband and Janelle, but is more liberal left-leaning than the Authoritarian left views of Janelle. Her ideas would still be in line with capitalist philosophy, but being such a close friend of Janelle, she is one of the extremely few people who knows that Janelle’s a socialist-communist (even Janelle’s husband Pat doesn’t know about that, as he is a right-leaning centrist), and is receptive to the concepts
Even though she’s talkative, she doesn’t spill secrets
Occasionally appears on Janelle’s relatively popular YouTube channel as a cooking buddy; given that she’s married to the extremely gluttonous and fat Stripe, learning and doing new recipes, techniques, and hacks from the creatively-minded Janelle is ALWAYS helpful
She is a pretty fast cook (again, Stripe), but maybe half the time she just doesn’t feel like it, has something else to do, or the kids are becoming too much of a handful, so she just orders take-out or goes to a restaurant with her family. Many times she’ll just get foods like pizza, ramen, microwave dinner, burgers, or fast food. Even though she often forgets to eat healthier just because of the immediate situation(s), she is envious of how healthily Janelle’s family eats.

…The two word clusters were in separate quotes (“‘Gacha Life,’ ‘…but it’s anime…’”), which should have suggested to you that they were separate concepts (types of videos). I’m a pretty avid anime watcher, and it’s pretty obvious that Gacha Life is amateur “for fun” content and not “true” anime.
Basically, there’s lots of weird videos on YouTube, YouTube Kids and elsewhere that end in “…but it’s anime,” and they’re often a very weird genre of videos—often ElsaGate-esque; that’s what that was referring to
