I was looking again at the intro for that monitor/tv thing Bella moves from the study, I assume into the locked door and thought that she maybe moved it out again for one reason, or another at the dinner...but I can't see it anywhere in the living room.

What other things could she need from a lets assume a sort of store room/utility room for the Christmas dinner? I think the house is already decorated way before that

I think its safe to assume that whatever tragedy happened to Bella in the past happened around Christmas. Bella and Jill have a conversation in this episode about how shes holding up as both their tragedys happened in december.

I assume thats the reason why the room was unlocked as Bella maybe has some kind of ritual at the day it happend or something similar to that.

I dont think theres anything shockingly crazy in this room, more like something very sad and heartbreaking.

My first run was the Sage love route and damn, it was worth it.

In my second I started out with Josy and Maya then broke up with them for Jill. I started the cheat path with Bianca before dumping Jill for Zoey. I'm very excited to see how that plays out in the future.

One thing I noticed these last 2 runs is how crazy Josy is for the MC.

Even if you say to her that you think they didn't stand a chance at the halloween party it doesn't push her away. She can never shake her feelings no matter the scenario. Oh boy and if you break up with her? in CH11 she start to look like the final boss at times.

For one... Jill is going in and out of Bellas house for more than 2 years now, maybe even longer. Bella is inviting people without a care in the world about whats behind that door. Its locked, and not a single noise comes out of it. A locked door is nothing out of the ordinary. We all have a locked door in our apartments, houses, whatever. Cellar door for example or whatnot.

If there would be a human being behind that door, somebody would have noticed that. And if there would be a person behind that door, Bella wouldnt let people in so easily. Not just Jill, but MC too, Josy, Maya, Derek, Sage, Cathy and propably many more... even having a christmans dinner RIGHT IN FRONT of that door. And you seriously think that there is somebody ALIVE behind that door? Oh... and not to forget... Bella was even several days away, who would have taken care of that person behind the door (no matter if its james or anyone) its so ridiculous to assume that there is somebady alive behind that door i cant even discribe how ridiculous that is.

If James would be brain damaged lying around there, at least some heartbeat monitor would be heard. Or some lights behind that door would have been seen, or any other fucking noise... its not a sealed door or anything, its just a normal door and MC can even take a look through that door. And of course Bella couldnt afford to leave the house for days or so... even brain damaged people need endless care, you cant leave them longer than some hours. No fucking way. Its starting with movement, coma patients need to be moved several times a day or they get wounds and will die through sepsis eventually. For all the other things you need to take care of i will not even start... Its impossible to take care of a person behind a closed door and nobody would notice. Except, you dont let people in your house. But that would be strange for friends like Jill of course...

Ah iam writing way too much about that, no there is no huming beeing behind that door, not dead and certainly not alive. Heck there couldnt even be a fucking hamster behind that door without anybody noticing that at some point... and the room is just near the bathroom... where people go and leave all the time.

Of course there is something serious behind that door, and something Bella needs to hide too. And the game showed us already that Bella has some serious issues. After the made out session in episode 3 in the libary MC told us all "if had knew, i would have called for help" Help for Bella of course. So what can that be? Mental health related, 99% sure. But that can mean a lot... James is missing for 3 years... is he missing? Could be that Bella was just imagining him. Jill doesnt really know anything about James, as far as we know, she never met him. Bella is working not that long at B&R... would fit if she started said 3 years ago. All know she is married, but a picture and a ring on a finger is all they see and know. If somebody would REALLY know James and had met him, word would go around "what happened to him?" but nobody asks, nobody talks about that, why? Cause nobody at B&R ever met James. How can that be? Well... he could have left Bella before she went to B&R but i dont think so. The libary scene at the intro of episode 8 shows some strange things... it looks like she is imagening James there, and the reaction of her employer is really strange. Same goes for the date with MC later... he wanted to taker her to that libaray and of course that would put her in danger to meet people who know her form the past, and the secret could be revealed.

That secret could very well be, that James isnt a real person or she has lost him a long time ago and is in denial, and still thinks he will come back. "Lost him" can pretty much mean anything... he just left her, but that would open up the question, what is about divorce? He left because something happend (my theory) what happened? ITs to wide of a field to assume anything... But its hard to guess, cause over all stands the question... why did she hide it? IF James would be MIA in the military, there is no reason to hide it before Jill. So it has to be something real personal, something Bella is afraid of or doesnt want to face... than again, if thats something, why hide anything about it in a room, why not get rid of it entirely? So... it must be something she doesnt want ANYBODY including Jill to know, but doesnt want to get rid of it entirely either...

Some possibilities are...

-a misscarriage happend, James left, in that room is a children room for the lost baby and Bella lives in denial.
-James is dead, Bella lives in Denial, and in that room are some things as a memento mori. From time to time she goes in there to mourn.

The one thing that bugs me about that room is... why is it unlocked now...

No matter what, iam pretty sure its something mental-health related and Bella needs help, its no coincidence that MC said those exact words in episode 3.

But Bella is no serial killer, there is no person in that room, and so on... its something more or less pretty plausible thing. And its sometzhing that can be dealt with without serious consequences. So nobody goes to jails or something like that. Most likely it will be solved when they talk over it and with the help of a psychatrist or so.

LAst thing is... it can be something completley harmless, but i dont think so... cause if that would be harmless, Bella doesnt need help like MC told us in episode 3.

I've looked at the scripts and I'm 99% sure how the major choice system works now. (technical details at the end)
  • Prank option is visible if you're a DIK or you're both NEUTRAL and didn't invited Tara to the party
  • Letting other handle option is always visible
  • Confronting option is visible if you're a CHICK or you're both NEUTRAL and did invite Tara to the party
The image I've uploaded before contained a scene which was triggered manually, not the natural occurence of the scene. So some variables might have gotten messed up. Sorry for the previous misinformation.

Neutral is fine yes I just did it on neutral. The trigger is inviting Tara.
